For those of you who don’t know, we launched Relationships to a limited set of users in April. So what is Relationships?
With the new Relationships functionality, you’re able to share your business memberships and packages with groups of clients, including families, friends, co-workers, and others! Gone is the requirement for each attendee to create a Fitli account and purchase their own packages – now they can be shared from a primary member to multiple relationships!
In May, we enabled clients to be able to manage their own bookings (business had to do it in the first release) and enabled waivers for relationships. Now in the June release, we have further extended Relationships to Appointments (just classes before).

The number one enhancement on the Feature Upvote list is Self Check-In. Or it used to be. It’s time to move something else into the number one spot because Self Check-In is going live! The first version is extremely simple (it may look different than the pictures below) and far from perfect, but it works and we’ll keep enhancing it.
Basically, you open up a custom link on a laptop or tablet for your clients to use when they walk in the front door. They do a simple search for their name. Then, assuming they are booked into a class or appointment (and not checked in yet), the session will show up. They click confirm and whamo! They are checked in. Hoping this saves a ton of time for all of you.
For those of you who have recurring packages or memberships, you know what this is all about. One of your clients gets their monthly charge. They are suddenly reminded that they meant to cancel (they haven’t been attending class in a while). So, they call and want to cancel ASAP and would like a refund for the last charge.
You submit a refund and cancel their last purchase, but it sets the expiration date to the end of what would be their current period. Before now, that expiration date was not editable and we had to go in and change it for you. Not anymore.
Previously, when updating an expiration date on an existing package, session, or membership, you could set it for the future or today, but it defaulted to midnight of the current day. Now, you can simply expire immediately.
If you are reading this, Simplified Onboarding most likely won’t help you. But, if you are brand new or just checking us out, you’re in luck. In short, we’ve put some messaging and directions into the system to direct you to do the things you need to do first. This includes things like adding a location or a product before you try to put a class on the calendar. You know. Really basic stuff, but very helpful when you are new.
You all read the help content in the sidebar to the right of the screen, right? Actually, we have no way of knowing for sure, but we get tons of questions via chat that are answered in the help content… so I’m guessing not. We don’t mind. We love chatting with all of you for any reason. But, it does mean we are taking up quite a bit of screen space for something not getting used that often.
So, we are removing the sidebar help content and adding a clickable link at the top near the page title. Click on that and page help will pop up. We’ve added help on 20+ additional pages as well.
No more requesting Fitli Support to delete or update a credit card for your clients. Now, they can set default cards and delete expired/old cards on their own. Thanks to Braintree Payments for updating the integration. We’ve all been waiting for this one. This applies to Personal Billing and Business Billing. Soon we will add a place for you to manage cards on behalf of your clients as well.
This is just what the title says. We have added the ‘Next Payment Date’ to the Account Balances report. For any auto-renewing plans that have not been canceled, you will now see their Next Payment Date. You can also sort by this new field.
